Peter,

The iSeries-toolkit at http://www.iseries-toolkit.org has pretty
extensive user space support. You would want to look at the
stgtkt, usrspc, and possibly usridx modules. That storage toolkit
procedures allow you store and access values in a user space by
a name or address and provide support for dyanamic arrays. The
API cross reference page lists most of the supported APIs:

Hi group,

I have noticed that for producing listings, many tools use user spaces
and
list API's, but it all looks very complex to me (probably it isn't).

Does anybody know of a tutorial about user spaces and how to use them
in
RPGLE?

Thanks in advance.
