What Mike was I believe suggesting was to perform a DSPPGMREF of all your programs to an outfile, than SQL or query the outfile to check where your file has been used for a compilation. You cannot do it the other way around using OS/400, as when you create a file, there is no link between that file and a program, the link is the other way around when you compile your program, it knows which files were used during the compilation.
