I have developed lots of applications and reports
using powerbuilder / Infomaker and DB2 as back end.

You can go for any report writer viz. crystal report
writer or infomaker, which gives a selection criteria
to the user to select.

Talk to the above reports vendors in your country and
discuss your problem.
