I'm not sure if the limit on screen input fields is still 120. If it is, then the problem has nothing to do with SFLINZ. I have encountered this limit in the past, but it has been awhile. - Donna Bryant, CCP Colonial Group, Inc. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Albino Sousa" <ASousa@Auto-Sueco.PT> To: <rpg400-l@midrange.com> Sent: Wednesday, May 29, 2002 7:43 AM Subject: SFLINZ > This is a multi-part message in MIME format. > -- > [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] > > I have this problem: > I was asked to change a subfile to include two new fields. This subfile has the keyword SFLINZ. So, from 16 fields now i have 18. I changed the RPG program to move also those fields to screen. After that the program begun to crash with > > Mensagem . . . : Permanent I/O error occurred (C G S D F). > Cause . . . . . : The RPG program TABCTR in library SOUSALIB at statement > 4700 detected a permanent (not recoverable) file, session, or device error. > The session, device and/or program has been stopped. Now is working. Is there a limite for number of screen fields with the keyword SFLINZ. > > > Thanks for your time and help > > > Cumprimentos > > A.Sousa > Sistemas de Informaçao > Ext.2860 > > _______________________________________________ > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: RPG400-L@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l > or email: RPG400-L-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. > >
