This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] This program, the operating system, and the TCP/IP utilities are all you need loaded on your 400 for it to work. And I can't see what security exposure it would open up. SENDING email doesn't open up your system to the outside world. Granted some nimrod could email a file as an attachment. And you may not want that data leaving. But if you're really working in that paranoid of a world then I am sure they've locked down client access transfers, Query, commands, ftp and everything else therefore the user wouldn't have access to the data in the first place to attach the file. Makes sense? Gee, you're just like us. lincare.com will not work but www.lincare.com will. Just like dekko.com will not work but www.dekko.com will. I did some looking at your website to see what business you're in and I can see the reasons for their paranoia. If so, what sort of security exposures does that open up? I live in a paranoid world here and only network type's are competent to interact with the outside world ;) > -----Original Message----- > From: rob@dekko.com [SMTP:rob@dekko.com] > Sent: Friday, May 24, 2002 3:04 PM > To: rpg400-l@midrange.com > Subject: RE: ESNDMAIL in RPG-ILE > > This is a multipart message in MIME format. > -- > [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] > For simple sending we use Dave Leland's SNDEMAIL program he put in > News/400 in ?1998?
