Has anyone written any programs that have extended the SMTP server on the
AS/400 so that it provides administration functionality for outgoing emails?
I am on a project right now that desperately needs something like
Communigate, but we didn't budget for it so we will have to write one
ourselves.

Or if someone could point me to the API's used to do mail stuff that would
be great also.
