I was wondering about that, Barbara.  I kind of thought there was something
like this, but I wasn't familiar enough with the various keywords to know
for sure.  But that's why I ask these questions <grin>.  OPNSCOPE(*JOB)
makes sense that it would leave the file open, but as long as I don't invoke
that particular option, it looks like my ACTGRP(*NEW) scheme will work just
as I planned.

This is heady stuff at times...
