Sometimes I surprise myself too <g>.  I just finished an add-on to WRKDBF
that will extract DDS specs from PF's and LF's that will be available with
the next release.  However it is unlikely I will extract DDS for flatfiles
although I'm thinking about it.

By the way, DBU extracts DDS to a PF format even for LF's.
