Dan,

I am not sure if you have DBU on your system, but it has a handy export
function to create your DDS.  Only limitation is that you have to have an
RPG member with I Specs that DBU can use to built the DDS.

Not sure if other DB editors - (WRKDBF, PFE, etc) have same function.

I checked out mcpressonline.com and they made reference to it, but only that
it could be found on the The Midrange Computing Resource CD.  So if you've
got a handy copy of that utility, please forward it to me at your
convenience.

I'm sure it is simple as you mentioned, but anything I can do to keep from
reinventing the wheel right now...

I wrote one of those long ago that was published in Midrange Computing.  If
their archives are still up, you may find it there,
FI2DDS was the command name.

I've still got the article framed on my wall :)

I might have it floating around if you can't get it there.

It was really quite simple to do.
