This is a multipart message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] This comes up once in awhile. Let's start with what's already in there. There is a date on each line of code of when it was last modified. If that doesn't fit your bill you can look at some other things. Triggers were discussed. However both SEU and Code/400 write out every record in the member so the trigger would fire off on each and every row. Journals were discussed. I forget what the conclusion was on that. You could modify your PDM option to edit a member to do some sort of log upon completion of edit. However this might be defeated by people bypassing PDM and accessing the editor directly. Perhaps what is needed is two exit points. One for the start of the editing of a source member, and one for the completion of the editing of a source member. This would allow you to maybe store the member in a temp area upon entering and then do a CMPPFM or some such thing upon completion. You could submit a DCR off to IBM for this feature. http://faq.midrange.com/data/cache/189.html Then again you could purchase a Change control system like Softlanding and hope this does what you need. http://softlanding.com/ I get no kickback from them.
