The only place I've seen mch3601 is when, somewhere along the 'call' line,
a parameter has been defined with a different length.

I notice you use blanks for variable type in all your def specs - does this
ALWAYS default to signed?  packed?  what?

My suggestion would be to define them all as packed (default numeric data
type for rpg)  and see if that helps.
