Good idea.  Currently I only get.

 Recovery  . . . :   Change ROBDEL to a name that does not exist, or
delete,
   move, or rename the existing object.  Try the request again.

I suppose you could rename your existing library, create the collection,
SAVOBJ the new collection library, delete the new collection library,
rename the old library back, RSTOBJ the objects from the collection
library.

Or you could submit a DCR.

1)  Is there a way to "convert" a regular library into an SQL collection?

2)  If not, why not?
