Jon, We use the autostart server, but I don't see how I can define different environments for one server. I've tried to fool the communication daemon by using different names for the same server, but it won't let me. Anyway, Peter Colpaert showed me how to do it with macros calling initialisation programs on the AS/400 and that does exactly what I need.
