Free format RPG allows you to write code in a free format style similar to
PC type languages. So instead of:

C           EVAL X = Y

you would have:
/free
 x = y;
/end-free

The /free and /end-free are compiler directives that tell the compiler you
are now coding in free format RPG.
I don't have any documentation on it nor do I know where to point you. I
would recommend using CODE/400 or similar GUI editor when making the switch
to free format.
