Just take up more room, plus if you change it you would need to recompile all the programs instead of just the one service program. > -----Original Message----- > From: Justin Houchin [SMTP:jhouchin9@charter.net] > Sent: Friday, April 19, 2002 10:51 AM > To: RPG Midrange > Subject: Service Programs > > This is a multi-part message in MIME format. > -- > [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] > Hi Everyone, > What is the advantage of creating a service program out of a module > than just binding that module to create the program? > > > Justin Houchin > Programmer > Reliatek, Inc > _______________________________________________ > This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list > To post a message email: RPG400-L@midrange.com > To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, > visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l > or email: RPG400-L-request@midrange.com > Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives > at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ This message originates from Lincare Holdings Inc.
