This causes the data buffers to be written to the job log for your review. Note that this is *not* the actual 5250 data stream, just the record format data. To capture the actual 5250 data stream, Gene Gaunt published a really slick utility in News/400 a couple of years ago called TRC5250 which traced the actual 5250 data stream and parsed it into an annotated print log. I don't remember an exact issue date. Doug
