There is a command called (CVTILEFMT) that claims that converts RPGIV into the new free-form format but only after running the IBM supplied Convert RPG Source (CVTRPGSRC). **** http://www.bvstools.com/cvtilefmt.html **** I have not tested this command yet but maybe it will help you (immediate and short term) in giving you the answers you are looking for; however, I also agree with Paul that documentation on this matter is still limited.
