Amazing.

I wonder if they ever make free format SQL if that will be a bug there.
But frankly the precompiler people have so many bugs now that allowing free
format SQL is probably low on their list.

It was easy enough to test, so I did.  On my V5R1 box I created a 240
record
length source file (the largest SEU can handle) and shifted all the code
right 200 characters.  It compiles fine.  Not known to leave well enough
alone, I created a 1000 byte long source file and used Code to edit it and
shove statements out to the end.  That compiles too.
