Subject: Window format clearing the remainder of the screen

I have three formats that define a subfile screen within a window being
used
in an RPG program. OVERLAY is specified on two of the three formats
(the
SFL format won't allow it). When the subfile is displayed, the previous
format is cleared from the screen. I have KEEP specified on the first
format and have attempted using ASSUME in a dummy format.

Nothing has worked so far. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks.
