Trust me - I'm taking no prisoners on the precompiler issue.
I've opened PMR's.
I've submitted DCR's.
I've accessed 'alternative channels'.

Who is going to be the keynote speaker on this issue at Soundoff in
Nashville?  It ain't my turn to go.

not been kept up to date with other RPG IV enhancements - Integers among
other things.
