An additional question I would like to see addressed: I've seen it written, I think, on various occasions say that the true definition of whether a program is an ILE program or not is based on whether it is running in the *dftactgrp or not. If I have a program that was intended to be an ILE program (using multiple modules, procedures, service programs, etc), but was compiled with *CALLER and was called by an OPM program, what functionality is actually lost as compared to when that same program is called by an ILE program running in a named activation group? I've always been a little hazy on the specifics of just what is different, other than the fact that "unpredictable results" may occur. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ This message originates from Lincare Holdings Inc.
