(Forgive me if the following comments belong on the CODE list.) >>No; and if I were still writing RPG day-to-day, and now that there is >>(presumably) a CD on the premises, then I would go and do it. It could (and IMHO should) be made as easy >>as installing or updating Client Access Express. I am a CODE novice myself, still getting to grips with the basics. However, the installation CAN be made as easy as Client Access. Following the instructions, I recently copied the 4 CD's to an IFS directory on our iSeries, (mapped as a Network Drive to the PC). Subsequent to this I successfully installed CODE on a number of PC's - using the iSeries as the 'server' in the same way you would Client Access. I was surprised how straightforward and easy this was. 'Someone' has to load the software in the first place, of course - but this is also true of OS/400, Client Access, etc. Once this is done, subsequent installs should be easy. Brian Parkins
