Sorry Martin, I don't think I understand what you're trying to do. Upon reading your description a second time, it now sounds like you have a *BEFORE add/update trigger specified with *ALWRPTCHG(*YES), in which you are trying to add/insert a different sub-total record within the same file. Is that correct, or way off base?
