David Morris has espoused putting ALL the SQL in a single module.  This way,
the mainline code never deals with precompiler issues, and we only have to
deal with it in a single compile.  It makes a lot of sense, but only works
well if using the CLI I think.  Check out the iSeries-toolkit at
