Through this whole discussion, the point was never brought up...

If you want to use the MOVE opcode, go ahead!  Nothing is stopping you!
It's still there and works like it always did.

"They" are just not moving it to free format, if you want to use free format
use the BIFs, if you still want to use MOVE, do so.

I don't' think it's a matter of IBM "taking out" the move opcode from RPG.
It's just IBM is not making it a part of the free format syntax.

Personally, I have no problem with that.  Personally, I'm glad IBM is *not*
making the MOVE opcode part of free format, I don't believe it has any place
there.
