MOVE is a viable solution, as long as you stick to fixed format RPG.  If you
plan to move on to free format RPG sometime, it is now time to get rid of
things not supported in free format; such as MOVE.

(BTW: We can call Java in V5R1, can't we?  Now, how would we skin this cat
in Java?)
