I've kind of lost your original question. There are a couple of possibilities, having forgotten some information about this thread. 1) CALLPRC a RPGLE subprocedure which calls the original subprocedure, but returns the value via the parameters and not the PI itself. 2) Try to avoid using CL. But this is why I put the first couple of sentences in this reply. Rob Berendt -- "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." That means that the subprocedure returned a value via the PI itself and not just via the parameter list. That might be a little trickier in CLLE. When going the latter route, watch any overrides you may have in effect as they may not be in effect for your procedure. _______________________________________________ This is the RPG programming on the AS400 / iSeries (RPG400-L) mailing list To post a message email: RPG400-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/rpg400-l or email: RPG400-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/rpg400-l.
