I think, stress the 'think' because I haven't done this.  With RPG IV and
ILE you can use a cancel handler which should get control if the job ends
abnormally.  You could write a RPG IV program, that is just a wrapper around
the RPG III program, that uses a cancel handler to clean up the file.
