Mark, No, I mean is there functionality in SQL on the AS/400 that can't be used by RPG with embedded SQL. I've heard for a long time that the precompiler is lagging behind. To me that means there's functionality that is out of reach because the precompiler hasn't been updated to use the new function. But what I'm hearing is that is not the case. Rather it is problems like the requirement that the DECLARE, PREPARE, OPEN & CLOSE be in order even if they're in separate subprocedures or subroutines.
