Well I taught myself but we had an ILE environment for me to work on. If you do not already have an ILE environment, there is a website that has a pretty good tutorial. If you look in the archives you should be able to find the site there...I unfortunately can not remember the address. If you have the ILE environment available to you, I'd create a test library and just start coding...trial and error with the help of book. Try a college text book rather than an IBM manual or something. A text book explains things at a less technical level and walks you through things step by step. Elonna Thompson CHCS Services, Inc.
