>Does anyone have any sample code for calculating the week number given a
>date?

Hi
sadly I don't believe there is any easy coding.

I did write a program to do this on another system (but its not very elegant).
and it also worked on Sunday being the week start day.

The way I did it was as follows -

Using the current date, identify if Jan 1st of that year is in this
year or last year. If Jan 1st is either Fri Sat or Sun, then it is in
the previous year.

Adjust the start date to either previous or following Sunday to Jan 1st

>From this start point, increment the week by adding 7 days until
you reach your specified date.

HTH

Mike
