Coloring RPG code

Hi
I am sorry, but I did not understand how I can map the key board in that way, 
like alt+w = white characters. We are using Host Explorer. In the Keyboard 
Mapping window, I see 'System commands' (such as CLOSE WINDOWS, MAXIMIZE FONT), 
'Action keys' (such as ENTER, PGDN etc), 'Editing keys' (such as FIELD EXIT 
etc), 'Quick keys' , 'characters' and 'Macros'. I need some more guidance 
please.
