Declaration Syntax Error

This is a multi-part message in MIME format.

I need help with my variable declaration with C++ (This is mull function 
returning values).

I declare the following variable as

mul(int x, int y)

I get no error when I have a non-returning value from the function. Like this:

void mul(int x, int y):

Anyone any help...
