Just reading the code, I'm not sure what you are trying to do.

To me, "Not Prettyfield" means flip the value of Prettyfield, not set it to
0. It's the same as "Prettyfield = not Prettyfield"

           PrettyField is an indicator field - a type 'N'.

             Not PrettyField;

           /end-free

           The
             PrettyField;
           compiles ok.  However the
             Not PrettyField;
           does not.

           Should I use the
           PrettyField=*on;
           PrettyField=*off;
           logic, or should I hold my breath until I turn blue and hope IBM
changes
           this?
