How about just doing a %Trim() as you put the text in the field?

Does anyone have a function to strip extraneous spaces out of a field?

For example

A 40 char name field that might contain something like:

John                R                Doe

I would like to strip out the extraneous spaces between the names.

TIA for any help possible.
