The first release where the BIF's for I/O results became available.  I believe
that was V4R2 if I'm not mistaken.  It definately was not in V3R2, nor V3R7.

Just looked it up, and the V4R2 reference does have the left margin vertical
change flags for %status(),  along with %found(), etc.  See the BIF listing at
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/cgi-bin/bookmgr/BOOKS/QB3AGZ00/4.1
