Yeah, I have, John.  I read it in some detail when I was writing an article
on ILE Condition Handling.  But nowhere did I see any mention of *INLR or
*INZSR.  In fact, in the RPG ILE manual, it specifically states the
following:

"If a program ends with LR off, the initialization subroutine does not
automatically run during the next invocation of that program because the
subroutine is part of the initialization step of the program. However, if
the initialization subroutine does not complete before an exit is made from
the program with LR off, the initialization subroutine will be re-run at the
next invocation of that program."

Now, the issue may be activation group boundaries.  This is where things get
a little confusing.  I'm pretty sure that if I change my activation group
from *NEW to *CALLER, I will get a different set of results.  And I'll test
that as well.  But I was hoping someone could actually share some helpful
insights.
