Dave, avoid *LIKE DEFINE (use the LIKE keyword instead).  The
full set of "rules" that govern its behaviour are too complex
for any human.  The rules for the LIKE keyword are straightforward;
what you think you get is what you get.  ... Almost (neither
LIKE inherits array information).

An example of a *LIKE DEFINE problem: if p1bcst were a zoned
field, p01 would be packed.  Probably.
