Maybe I need to be a little bit more explanatory. (Thanks for the post so
far) What I'm
actually doing is trying to find a database (PF file) that is used in all
code on the system.
For instance you go to your QRPGSRC member, (from one specific library then
you)
will see a list of your source code files. Put a 25 out beside the first
RPG type and press
F13 to put a 25 beside all files and press enter then the search box comes
up I put in my
database (ITEMASU) and press enter, it will show me all the programs that
use that
database. This is what I would like to do but for all RPG's RPGLE's, CL's,
DDS's in
every library on the system. I hope this clears up any confusion. I was
trying to find an
easier way, and our Hawkeye is not setup yet.

I have a little project to do that maybe someone has already accomplished.
I need to search for a database file in every DDSSRC, RPGLESSRC, CLPSRC,
and RPGSRC from every source library on the system. Does anyone have
(RPG) code that would accomplish this task that they would be willing to
share. I will
be happy to give you an ataboy? We have Hawkeye but I don't know how
to use it.
