If you don't manage to get info on the IFS apis, you could 'cheat' and
use the QShell utilities. I use the common *nix cat, head, tail, echo,
etc command to manipulate files on the IFS. It's easy to do in CL or RPG
by executing a series of QSH CMD('cat filex >> bigfile') type commands.
