Seeing it's my day for asking questions...

Has anyone any experience of using the AS/400 to distribute mail with
uuencoded attachments?  I've already written a mail distribution system
but the attachments are MIME-type and I can't find any information on
how to uuencode attachments.  Any ideas?

Several of our customers' mail servers reject MIME attachments, so I
need a solution pretty darn quick.
