Rob, That's my point. I was watching this thread closely hoping for a silver bullet solution. I guess you can't have the best of both worlds. If I didn't need the dynamic sort, I'd use native I/O every time. But I did it once, and the powers that be came back and requested all of our subfiles have the capability. Oh, well. I'll keep playing. Those types of challenges keep me coming to work every day.
