Thanks Michael,

I already found those two articles during my searches on the net.  Although they
are very helpful, I still need to find something that comprises all tags and
their extenders.

Can anybody tell me where the IBM supplied book on UIM can be downloaded (if it
even exists)?

Yes it is still a work in progress.  I have a few chapters on the easy
stuff
(menus, help, command help, etc) done but I'm still working on the more
interesting aspects of UIM -- lists, data entry, validation, error
handling,
etc.

The small matter of earning a living is getting in the way.  I have
three
real projects on the go in addition to the other ideas I have.
