I have found that the addition of a dummy record format containing the
ASSUME keyword in the DSPF used by WDWSFL module often corrects these kinds
of problems.  You don't need to use it (dummy record format) at all, just
define it.

I would not use DFRWTR(*YES), use the default value. Only the window-DSPF
should be compiled with RSTDSP(*YES), *NO is the default, I think. Define
the DDS key words KEEP and USRRSTDSP on the window record. In the programme
do not close the DSPF or set on *INLR in the window programme.
