Kathie,
The key details need to be defined in the F spec of the RPG II program.
You need the key length and start position.
Something like:

     FIC935U2    IF     64   64 13AI      1 DISK

I don't have a manual or source available at the moment and it's been a long
time since I coded any S36 RPG.
