That I can accept - with gusto!

Hans,
Regarding the issue with the precompiler putting the sql data areas after
the /free statement, should I:
I) Accept it. And change /free to C/free to get it to stop.
II) Report it as a problem to database.
III) Report it as a problem to RPG.

Yeah, allowing embedded sql within /free blocks would be
nice. Personally, I'd like to see something like:

/free
   DoStuff(abc);
   level = 'better than today';
   sql declare c cursor for
        select fld1, fld2
        from myfile
        where rpgsqlsupport = :level;
   sql fetch c into :f1, :f2;
   DoMoreStuff(f1:f2);
   etc();
/end-free

(It's fun to daydream, isn't it?)
