Has anyone come up with a real-world use for a field level trigger that
justifies the maintenance hassle? I don't even like trying to keep up with
different triggers on the six record-level slots. I use the same trigger
"shell" on all six slots, and let the internal code sort out what to do,
when.

Is there any performance difference between a trigger on a single field vs.
the whole record? What do the buffers look like on a field level trigger?
Can any kind of program be fired or only something SQL-based? I haven't
gotten to 5.1 yet, so I haven't had the chance to play with them yet.
