Use validation lists for storing passwords.  You can use API's to get and put the username/passwords into the validation lists.  They are very secure.

Subject: Password Encryption

Is anyone aware of a good one-way password encryption system which can be used in an RPG program?  I'm building a web application, and I'd like to use this method to save a user's password instead of saving it directly to the database.

Thanks - Chris
