Jade,

Basically you can create the source file with any record length you like, as
long as the tools you use (i.e. editors and compilers) can handle it.  SEU
is limited to something like 250 (IIRC).  DDS and CL compiler probably read
80 bytes and ignore the rest.  Surprisingly, the RPG IV compiler also
accepts 92 byte records.  The downside of longer records is of course the
space it takes.
