Giri, <g> This is one of those 'holy war' topics, albeit this one is as old as the hills (or the S38, whichever came first...). IMO, it is correct to key the physical file. Originally, the argument against using keys on the PF were primarily performance related, and are not at all applicable to today's iSeries.
